Burlington School Food Project

Burlington School District seeks an individual to work at various kitchens in Burlington Schools for up to 35 -40 hours a week on an as-needed basis.

Requirements include:

-- High School diploma, some college preferred

-- Shown success working as a team player

-- Grasps an understanding of local food systems and sustainable practices

-- Proficiency in computer applications

-- Familiar with Federal and State laws and regulations regarding health and safety, including food handling and safety laws and regulations

-- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

-- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship


ESSENTIAL DUTIES (partial list):

All aspects of food preparation and production, service and clean-up – including but not limited to:

-- Maintaining a high level of customer service

-- Preparing/completing appropriate reports/paperwork as required
