  • THREE Letters of Recommendation and transcripts uploaded with application
  • Understanding of Cultural Competency (As explained through Essay 1)
  • School experience at the elementary level
  • Familiarity with integrated technology as a learning tool
  • Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols
  • Knowledge of elementary research based best practices
  • Training and experience with English Language Learners
  • Evidence of strong connection with students and families.
  • Experience in a professional/teaching learning community
  • Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction
  • Experience in implementing inclusive practices
  • Strong communication skills as evidenced through quality of resume and cover letter
  • Ongoing educational coursework
