Our Grade 1-3 STEP (Studying Toward English Proficiency) New Arrival class is currently in need of a part-time paraeducator to support students within the Integrated Arts Academy. Responsibilities include communication facilitation, carrying out programs designed by the teaching staff, managing behavior, reinforcing self regulation skills, and supporting and facilitating social engagement with peers. Physical responsibilities include lifting, carrying, personal care, and the ability to assess a situation and respond quickly. Experience working at the elementary school level is preferred but not mandatory.
