Support Center Coordinator
The Sustainability Academy seeks a dynamic team member to support Restorative Practices. The Restorative Practices are designed to address disparities in discipline by creating strategies to eliminate in and out of school suspensions, close achievement gaps, increase student voice, build collaborative relationships between teachers, students and administrators, and improve the climate at the school.
Support Center Coordinator will ensure the effective and efficient operation of a team based approach to support the school community in the integration of Restorative Practices into daily operations
Required Qualifications:
The qualified staff will have the skills necessary to elevate and support the role of Restorative Practices.
Must be proficient in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data
management systems and others as assigned to specific responsibilities
The Support Center Coordinator will be a Trained Restorative Practices facilitator and will support students and staff at the Sustainability Academy and be a representative on the Restorative Practices Pilot Team, Attendance Team, and PBIS Team,
Ability to communicate in an effective manner in person, orally and in writing to multiple stakeholders (students, parents, staff, community members) is a must.
As an essential community service representative, the Support Center Coordinator will contribute to a positive image for school community
Essential Duties:
Discipline log entries
Provide classroom management support
Collect discipline data
Serve as a classroom sub as part of restorative protocols
Recognize the value of positive school-community relations
Comply with board and administrative policies and regulations
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Accurately prepare and complete appropriate paperwork and reports in a timely manner
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established days/hours of work
Perform tasks as assigned
Hours are:
7:30 AM -3:30 PM
