Burlington School District is accepting applications for a Reading Interventionist (LTC) to join a school committed to high levels of achievement for all students at Lyman C. Hunt Middle School The Reading Interventionist is responsible for supporting student achievement in the area of English Language Arts, with special attention to reading across the curriculum.  The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to students who are struggling academically.  This position is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance. Essential skills include comfort, competence and knowledge in providing reading interventions for adolescent readers at the middle level.
